Participants will learn about the positive changes being made in rural counties as they hear from experts who will describe the implementation and operation of substance use disorder treatment and recovery programs within the court system, faith-based setting, and first responder services. Discussions will include program implementation strategies, engaging county leadership, and utilizing community partners and resources. Participants will also learn the importance of understanding the impact of fatigue on first responders, behavioral health providers, and others working in substance use treatment and recovery and how to incorporate best practices to address and prevent fatigue and burnout.
