Infant Mortality Month Webinar

Infant mortality continues to be a significant challenge around the nation and North Carolina is no exception. As we approach September, a month set aside to raise awareness of infant mortality, the Division of Public Health-Women, Infant and Community Wellness Section invites you to share your lunch break with us.  On Tuesday, September 19th from 12 pm – 1:15 pm, we will host a special webinar to bring awareness to infant mortality and highlight a few special programs and initiatives in the state focused on reducing this heart-wrenching statistic.

By attending this webinar, you will:

Understand the impact of infant mortality in our state;
Learn factors that contribute to infant mortality;
Hear from program representatives from across the state doing the awesome work of reducing infant mortality and empowering families;
Have an opportunity to ask questions to the panelists;
Discover ways you can actively engage in and support efforts!
